Balustrading Assembly Style
Options
There are various fittings (and
combinations of fittings) used for balustrading with the most
common shown below.
The preferred wire is 7 x7 in 3.2mm
(1/8").
Wire's are commonly spaced no more than
100mm apart but as each local council has their own
regulations we suggest you check with them prior to
installation.
HAND SWAGED
OPTIONS
Supplied as components,
requires a hand swager and wire rope cutters for assembly.
Requires eyebolts or saddles to secure to
metal posts, saddles or screw eyes for timber
posts.

HYDRAULICALLY SWAGED
OPTIONS
Supplied pre-swaged to your requirements,
only requires attachment to posts.
Option 4 requires eye bolts or
saddles to secure to metal posts, saddles or screw eyes for
timber posts.
Option 5 goes right through end posts and
requires no additional attachments.
